Toggle bolt specialists. Apartments, condos, high-rises across Raleigh and the Triangle. Same price, done right.
Most TV mounting guides assume wood studs. Most installers bring wood stud hardware to every job. In apartments, condos, and high-rises — that's the wrong hardware. Art of Mount brings toggle bolts and snap toggles to every job because we check first. Whether you're in Haddon Hall, Bella Casa, Courtyards at West Lake, or anywhere else in Raleigh, we come to you.
Every TV mounting job is handled personally by Artem — the owner and only technician. No subcontractors. No surprises. You get the same level of care and precision on every install, from a 43" bedroom TV to an 85" living room setup above the fireplace.
We don't just hang the TV. Every install includes a full wall assessment to locate studs and determine the correct hardware, precise leveling and height measurement based on your seating position, professional cable management (in-wall or surface raceway), and a final walkthrough to confirm everything looks and works exactly right.
We regularly work in: Downtown Raleigh apartments, North Hills condos, Brier Creek apartment communities, Morrisville near RTP, Midtown Raleigh, and any multi-family or commercial building across the Triangle.
Before drilling anything, we locate studs with a quality stud finder and verify with a magnet test. On metal studs, the stud finder beeps continuously across the full width of the channel — we identify this immediately and switch to the correct toggle hardware.
The most common mistake: driving wood screws into metal studs and calling it done. The screws appear tight but strip under dynamic load — especially with a heavy TV or full-motion mount. We've remounted TVs that were installed this way by other companies. The fix costs more than doing it right the first time.
Some high-rise buildings have concrete exterior or party walls in addition to metal stud interior walls. Concrete requires masonry anchors — different again from toggle bolts. We assess each wall before starting and bring both types of hardware to every apartment install.
Most Apex homes are drywall over wood studs — our most common and cleanest install type. We also work with brick, concrete block, stone veneer, and tile. Hard surface installs use masonry anchors rated for the load and carry an additional fee of $25–$150 depending on material.
We regularly work in: Haddon Hall, Bella Casa, Scotts Mill, Courtyards at West Lake, Brighton Forest, Townes at Brier Creek. If you don't see your neighborhood listed, don't worry — we serve all of Apex and surrounding areas.
Apex is primarily single-family homes built between 2000–2020 — drywall over wood studs, open floor plans, and living rooms designed around a central focal wall. Above-fireplace mounts are extremely common here, especially in homes with gas fireplaces and built-in shelving.
Apex homeowners choose Art of Mount because we're local — no trip fees, same-week appointments, and a technician who's worked in hundreds of homes just like yours. We know the builders, the wall types, and the common layouts across Apex subdivisions.
We regularly work in the 27601 and 27601 zip codes. If you're near Beaver Creek Commons, Salem Village, or the new developments off Highway 55 — we're minutes away.

Metal studs, concrete walls, or standard drywall — same clean finish every time. Toggle bolts set, TV level, cables managed. We don't leave until the mount is solid.
Straightforward pricing. No hidden fees. Hard surface surcharges listed upfront.
We check studs, wall type, cable paths, and room geometry. In Apex homes, we know what to look for — and where problems usually hide.
We measure from your seating position, mark the center line, and confirm placement before drilling a single hole.
