A 65" Samsung The Frame TV installed above a heavily textured manufactured stone fireplace after creating a level mounting plane for the finished installation.

The Challenge

This 65" Samsung The Frame TV was going above a fireplace finished with highly uneven manufactured stone. The irregular surface made a standard installation impractical because the mounting system needed a stable, properly aligned plane for a clean finished installation.

Our Solution

Art of Mount created a plywood mounting base over the relevant stone area and carefully leveled the new mounting surface. The backing was secured using appropriate heavy-duty fasteners for the actual wall conditions, providing a consistent foundation for the Samsung Frame mounting hardware.

This was the solution used for this particular fireplace and surface condition; the right approach depends on the individual wall.

The Result

With the mounting plane corrected, the 65" Samsung The Frame TV could be installed level and visually balanced above the highly textured fireplace while preserving the clean appearance expected from a Frame TV installation.
